In health and wellness coaching, the coach acts as a partner and guide, helping you bridge the gap between where you are now and where you want to be. Unlike traditional therapy or consulting, coaching is action-oriented and focused on the present and future.
For parents and moms-to-be, this means having a dedicated space to navigate the physical, emotional, and lifestyle shifts of parenthood.
What to Expect

There are a few things that are unique about Rock & Flower as a health and wellness coaching practice.
We have an advisory board. Rock & Flower is supported by an advisory board, made up of medical professionals who support Rock & Flower with strategy and awareness of trends in fields such as nursing, cardiology, pharmacy, subspecialties of internal medicine, business/finance. This helps us stay abreast of common trends to help support our clients.
We leverage Artificial Intelligence for Wellness. With our client’s consent, we leverage artificial intelligence across a few tiers of consent, which allows Rock & Flower to maintain eye contact without having to take notes, capture every important detail, and share our notes with you to help you stay accountable on you and your family’s wellness journey. All notes comply with HIPAA standards. You may of course opt out of this, and we are more than happy to take traditional notes.
We offer “free” coaching. Yes, you read that right. Rock & Flower has a novel program where clients can contribute to our “Paying Wellness Forward” (PWF) program, which is a fund set aside so that we can provide health and wellness coaching, free of charge, to those who cannot afford our sessions.
We don’t charge a ton. At Rock & Flower, we are confident in our ability to help you take strides towards your goals, and that you’ll speak well of Rock & Flower once you’re on track to achieve what you’re aiming for. There are health & wellness coaches out there that can charge upward of $200-$300 per session - and we’re nowhere near that. Helping you on your journey, and successfully establishing positive habits, is what we’re aiming for. We’re also smart about our expenses and don’t have to pass along our costs to you.

We employ standard health & wellness techniques, such as motivational interviewing and positive psychology, but we also recognize that there exists historical drivers that culminate into habits that we want to break. At Rock & Flower, we drill down to help you understand the current state, while also laying out realistic goals to help you improve your health & wellness.

Coaching with Rock & Flower has a base rate of about $60 per session. However, that amount can and generally does do down, depending on the number of sessions required, which we will discuss and agree to in our initial consultation. Additionally, through out Paying Wellness Forward (PWF) program, you can help offset the cost of health and wellness coaching to moms and dads who can’t afford our sessions. If you can’t afford health & wellness coaching, please complete a financial assistant application, and we will work with you to secure reduced cost or zero-cost coaching.
-
No. As a matter of fact, in the world of health & wellness coaching, there is current discourse surrounding the possibility of health & wellness coaching to be covered under health insurance, and while the procedure codes (CPT Codes) exist, they are currently not reimbursable, and when they may become reimbursable, your health plan may require you to meet a certain set of criteria before being eligible for this service. Rock & Flower is carefully monitoring news surrounding insurance reimbursement, and will be ready to engage health plans and enter into contracts once the codes become reimbursable. Until then, our main focus will remain on helping you identify and achieve your health & wellness goals.
-
Absolutely. At Rock & Flower, we don’t allow ability to pay to get in the way of you improving your health & wellness. Through out Paying Wellness Forward (PWF) program, the generosity of current and former clients helps offset the cost of coaching, so that we can provide reduced and cost-free coaching to clients, upon approval of our financial assistance application.

Step 1. Complete our contact card. This allows us to reach out to you and schedule an introductory session.
Step 2. The introductory session. This is a no-cost session where we just talk. Our Rock & Flower coach will talk to you about the coaching process, what to expect, and will also learn from you about your health & wellness goals.
Step 3. Sign coaching agreement. This is a very simple to follow form that we use to help us solidify the coaching relationship, provide a cost breakdown, inform you of your rights as client, outline your HIPAA rights, obtain your consent (or decline) of our use of our AI features to help facilitate our coaching, liability waiver and our refund schedule.
Step 4. Start coaching! Once all documents are received from you, we’ll work with you to set up our first coaching session. We will generally recommend bi-weekly coaching sessions, but can be as frequent as weekly or so, depending on your needs. For our coaching service for pregnant moms, we do recommend weekly sessions to keep our sessions going at every week of the pregnancy. After each coaching session, you will receive an invoice to remit payment through our secure portal. We ask for payment before scheduling the subsequent session; or sessions can be pre-paid if that works best for you.
Step 5. Conclusion. At our final coaching session, we will discuss progress made on milestones, and you’ll decide if you want to extend or sunset our services.
-
During the first actual coaching session (not the introductory call, but after you have agreed to be our client), we will spend some time learning about you, where you are today, and where you want to be in your health & wellness journey. In a way, it is a bit of a self-discovery call, but also one where you inform us of what’s worked in the past, what has not, and to equip us with knowledge about what can “stick” with you in terms of positive habit formation.
-
We maintain a high level of privacy and confidentiality and ensure that any notes taken during our sessions are secure, inaccessible to others, and HIPAA compliant. At our introductory session, we will discuss tiers of use of AI, and you’ll tell us what you are most comfortable with. There are certain circumstances where as coaches, we would be obligated to report things, but we will cover that in our introductory session.
-
We recognize that celebrities and public figures oftentimes find it challenging to participate in things like therapy, counseling, and coaching, out of concern for the risks associated with public knowledge of participation in these services. As such, we offer higher levels of confidentiality and even anonymity, where we could work with pseudonyms or through agents to ensure no specific names are depicted on any notes, documents, or invoices. Feel free to have your agent or representatives connect with us for more details.
-
Health & wellness coaching can be for everyone, but at the same time, it’s not for everyone. If you ever had some element of your health & wellness that you wanted to achieve, that requires a change in habits, establishing certain routines, or holding yourself accountable, then coaching is for you. If you have certain underlying medical, physical or psychological conditions, then health & wellness coaching may not be for you. If at any point in the coaching relationship we feel that it may be best suited for you to seek medical guidance, we will ensure to do so and that you aren’t charged for the session.
-
After each coaching session, Rock & Flower will send you an invoice to your email, which will prompt you to submit payment through our secure portal. Once payment for a session has been submitted, we will work with you to schedule our second session together. You may also pre-pay for coaching sessions, oftentimes at a discount. If at any point you wish to terminate the coaching relationship before all sessions are held, Rock & Flower will issue a full refund for any unused coaching sessions.
